💼 In the Portfolio Valuation & Fund Advisory Services team, you'll be a fully integrated member of engagement teams, gaining broad exposure to complex financial challenges. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting valuations of illiquid securities for hedge funds, private equity, and business development companies.
- Reviewing investment memoranda, financial models, and agreements to analyze companies and securities.
- Compiling financial ratios, identifying comparable companies and transactions using tools like S&P Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
- Constructing valuation analyses such as guideline public companies, precedent transactions, and discounted cash flow models.
- Researching economic conditions, industry trends, and investment attributes.
- Participating in due diligence meetings, communicating with clients, and preparing deliverables.
📋 Ideal candidates are pursuing Chartered Accountancy (IPCC cleared both groups), have completed 1 year of articleship (preferably with Big Four or in valuations), and possess strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and fluency in English. Experience with financial statements, valuation methodologies, and alternative investments is a plus.
