Job Description

A Financial Controller is a senior-level accounting professional who manages a company's daily financial operations, reporting, and compliance. They are responsible for preparing financial statements, overseeing accounting staff, managing budgets, and implementing internal controls to minimize risk and ensure accuracy. Key Responsibilities & Functions: Financial Reporting: Producing, analyzing, and reviewing monthly and yearly financial statements, including balance sheets and P&L reports. Accounting Operations: Managing the daily, weekly, and monthly accounting processes, including payroll and accounts payable/receivable. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assisting in creating operating budgets, monitoring performance, and investigating budget variances. Compliance & Auditing: Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing internal audits, and implementing robust financial policies. Strategic Guidance: Assisting in strategic decision-making through cost reduction analysis and financial planning.
